System: 10 - 12 participants. Round – robin tournament by FIDE regulations.

Time control: Playing time will be 90 minutes for the 40 moves ,plus 15 minutes till the end of the game with an increment of 30 seconds per move, starting from move one.
Digital clocks Silver.
Tie - break: 1.Points ; 2.Berger ; 3. The results of the games between the players with equal scores; 4.Number of wins.

Entry fee:
IM and title player with ELO above 2450 – entry free

For players with ELO:
above 2401 - 100 Euro
2351 - 2400 - 125 Euro
2301 - 2350 - 150 Euro
2251 - 2300 - 175 Euro
2201 - 2250 - 200 Euro
2150 - 2200 - 225 Euro
below 2150 - if you want to play in the tournament please contact the organizer
Accommodation: For invited IM players free in HOTEL **** SPA Vilnius SANA

The hotel can be booked on request.The Hotel costs from 189 LTL/night (55 euro for single room)
double room – from 249 LTL/night with breakfast (72 euro) in Lithuania - 1 Euro = 3,45 LTL.
For chess tournament players - a discount from this price - 10%.

Registration of the participants - 17th of March, 2009 from 11.00 till 14.00.
Tuesday 17.03.2009
The opening ceremony intended at 15.30. The beginning of the 1st round – 16.00.
Wednesday 18.03.2009 - 10.00 2 nd round and from 16.00 - 3rd round
Thursday 19.03.2009 - 16.00 4 th round
Friday      20.03.2009 - 10.00 5 th round and from 16.00 - 6th round
Saturday 21.03.2009 - 16.00 7 th round
Sunday   22.03.2009 - 16.00 8 th round
Monday   23.03.2009 - 10.00 9 th round and 15.00 closing ceremony

For 12 players - we will play one day 2 rounds more and closing is 24 March.
