34th International chess festival Panevezys Open 2021 takes place in Panevezys city Lithuania from 30th July to 06th August 2021 and there will be held some tournaments.
ELITE Open 2021 - GM Aloyzas Kveinys Memorial - standart swiss tournament will be held for players from ELO >2200 with a possibility to get GM, IM , WGM and WIM norms in 9 rounds with classic control 90min./40 move + 30 min. + 30 sek. per move. Accelerated pairings will be done in the first 3 rounds.
Special conditions will be offered to the first 3 GM with ELO 2550 and more.
Open A - Swiss tournament for all players
Two weekend tournaments Open B and Open C will be held too on the 30th July - 1st August.
Open B - 60 min. + 30 sek. for amateur players under ELO 2200 and Open C - 30 min. + 30 sek. for amateur players under ELO 1600. Blitz tournament will be held on Saturday 31st July evening too.
